History

1982

Coop.S.E. Piacenza manages educational services for disabled people and educational centres for minors (children and teenagers)

1985

The cooperative Cooperativa Elios is established in Reggio Emilia to manage educational services for disabled people in collaboration with the Local Healthcare Unit (ASL)

1986

Cooperativa Elios runs the first nursery school called “Linus” and manages child services in Reggio Emilia

1988

Coop.S.E. runs the first residential facility for elderly people in Bobbio (Piacenza). Elios runs the first residential facility for elderly people in Villa Minozzo (Reggio Emilia)

1994

This is the beginning of the collaboration between Coop.S.E. (Piacenza) and Elios (Reggio Emilia): the nursing home in Galliera Veneta (Padua) is set up in the form of a temporary association of companies

1995

Coop.S.E. and Coop Elios eventually merge and take the name Coopselios, thus joining the experiences acquired in Piacenza and Reggio Emilia

1998

The first residential facility for elderly people in the Liguria-Tuscany area is opened in Podenzana (Massa Carrara)

2001

The cooperative merges with the social cooperative Cooperativa Sociale Favrega, Fabbrico (Reggio Emilia)

2005

First strategic plan

2010

Merger with the cooperative Cooperativa Il Girasole, La Spezia

2014

Start of Strategic Plan for 2014-2018 to support the cooperative growth both in Italy and abroad

2017

Launch of the new cooperative website
