MINORS SECTOR:
TYPES AND FEATURES
OF SERVICES OFFERED
Coopselios Minors Sector supports young people aged between 6 and 17 throughout their educational process by designing and running social and educational communities, social and educational centres as well as territory-specific services. Coopselios Minors Sector also offers valid and efficient support for both children and teenagers who have been diagnosed with Specific Learning Disorders and other forms of disability.
Coopselios social and educational community is a family-like residential service where minors aged between 6 and 18 years are hosted in cases when their stay in their original household is not possible.
Minors are transferred to Coopselios social and educational communities after a measure/intervention has been ordered by a judicial authority or by the social services.
Coopselios social and educational centres are an afternoon service addressed to minors in the 6 to 18 age group who are in the care of the social services because they represent a psycho-social risk. The activities of these centres are defined according to the needs and characteristics of the user types that avail of them on a case-by-case basis.
Coopselios territorial services identify services that the Cooperative provides in the municipalities where it operates: school integration, educational home services, supervised visits, educational day care centres, individual coaching, and parent education.
