A SOLIDARITY BASED RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PURCHASERS AND PRODUCERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1501752627751{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h5><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"color: #ff9900;\">A meeting was promoted during the Social Cohesion Days with the authors of the book titled \u201cIl Consumo Critico\u201d in order to think about the concepts of economy and solidarity and to encourage good practices.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2428&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span lang=\"EN-GB\">On 10<sup>th<\/sup> June 2017 a meeting was held in Piazza Casotti, Reggio Emilia, with Francesca Forno and Paolo R. Graziano, authors of the book \u201cIl consumo critico\u201d (lit. Critical Consumption) (Il Mulino, 2016) which gave the opportunity to explore the concept of \u201ccritical citizen\u201d and the new models of living and solidarity, both inside and outside the labour market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">This event, which was promoted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.socialcohesiondays.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social Cohesion Days<\/a> and \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/quaderno.comune.re.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QUA \u2013 Il Quartiere Bene Comune<\/a>\u201d, in collaboration with the social cooperative Coopselios and the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, gathered representatives from the academic world, public administrations and citizens who started a meditation on the individual, society and the ability to determine the value of a product in terms of its environmental sustainability, social impact and forms of participation.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1501753028878{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-bottom: 20px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;background-color: #f7f7f2 !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1>Gallery<\/h1>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid element_width=&#8221;3&#8243; gap=&#8221;0&#8243; initial_loading_animation=&#8221;none&#8221; grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1510937977320-3a38876a-3918-6&#8243; include=&#8221;2428,3625,3627,3629&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]What is critical consumption? What are the implications of thinking about the economy as an instrument of progress and human development? How should a \u201ccritical citizen\u201d behave if s\/he is aware of the impact of his\/her own purchasing choices?
